Assalamualaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu,
Many of you have written to ask the same thing: where did the letters go?
You deserved an answer sooner. I’m sorry I left you in the middle of something, and I’m giving you the full truth now.
We began Chapters of Rising by walking through my story together: who I am, where I come from, and what I’m trying to build. My intention was sincere then, and it still is.
But somewhere along those twelve chapters, I realised it wasn’t working the way I had planned. The feedback was kind. Many of you told me you saw yourselves in these words, and I’m grateful for that. But it didn’t unfold the way I hoped, and I had to be honest with myself about that. It’s the qadr of Allah, and I accept it.
So I paused the letters and the posting to think clearly about what I was getting wrong.
I’m a researcher by training. I don’t do things randomly. I planned The Rising Nest before launching it, and I planned this series the same way. When something doesn’t work, my instinct isn’t to keep pushing harder. It’s to stop, study it, and rebuild properly. A pause like that isn’t abandonment. Still, I should have told you I was pausing, and I didn’t. That’s mine to own.
I haven’t been sitting idle. I’ve been working on the foundations of this community: the intentions behind it, the structure, and what it should actually feel like to belong here. A vision like this deserves a solid base.
Now I need you, because this nest is built with you and not just for you.
Between now and the proper community launch, what would serve you most?
1. Send you the rest of the letters.
2. Come online and talk about the things I’m truly passionate about.
3. Take you along with me as I learn and build the community, step by step.
Just hit reply with 1, 2, or 3, or with anything else on your heart. Advice, feedback, or a gentle correction are all welcome. I read every message.
Thank you for your patience, and for staying.
Until next time,
Aiman Hafeez
